Biggest one for cystic acne sufferers: Coconut Oil. I have tried everything and my Dr. wanted to put me on Accutane. No way! I heard coconut oil was good for skin so I made a mix of coconut oil and cinnamon and use it to wash and exfoliate my face in the shower. My skin has cleared and my scars have lightened up. This stuff is a miracle.
I also use it when I get out of the shower before I dry off on my body. My stretch marks have slightly diminished in the little while I have used it and my skin is OHHHH so SOFT!
-Vingegar- I use it for everything. Dont buy Jetdry, pour vinegar in your dishwasher. Does the same thing. I use is as fabric softner also. Its great for cleaning windows also.
-I dont buy chemial Comet, use baking soda....it works just as well.
These tips are not only great on your pocketbook, they are GREEN! :)
To get rid of Fruitflies, take a cup of vinigar (doesn't have to be a lot), cover the top with Saran Wrap and poke a pinhole on the top and place it on the countertop or where the problem is. The Fruitflies will crawl inside and subsequently drown.
Also, if you take cups of beer and bury them, ground level, in your garden, slugs and snails will be attracted, fall in and drown. (However, they may crawl out a few times to pee) JK. This is a great way to grow veggies without having to use chemicals of any kind.
Dryer sheets also work good for keeping mice away. We used to have problems with mice getting into our pop-up camper when we put it away for the winter. One of my dads co-workers had suggested to put dryer sheets throughout the camper. So we tried it and we've been doin it ever since and we've never had mice problems since!---- We just take a box of dryer sheets and spread them throughout the camper and then in between the canvas as we close it up. Also we spread a box of moth balls on the ground around the perimeter of the camper!
