Target should not be on the list....PERIOD.  I don't shop there anymore because of their unfriendly returnpolicy.  Nordstrom is by far the very best.

Target never allows you to return anything, they are known for not allowing people to return things. How you got them on this list is amazing, someone fooled you.

Kohls and Carsons should both be on this list. 

I took a pair of men's shoes back to Nordy's about twenty years ago; and they took them back, marked them, and put them in the trash.  I asked why the store didn't donate them to a shelter and was told, "We used to do that, but we got a lot of homeless people coming in to return the donated shoes for a refund and of course we had to take them because that was the policy."

TARGET ABSOLUTELY SHOULD NOT BE ON THIS LIST!!!!!!  I tried to take a pair of jeans back that were the "merona" brand..obviously from TARGET.  My daughter had received them as a gift, so no receipt was available.  She wore them once, sat down and the Jeans ripped, not at a seam, but right in the middle of the back side and they weren't  "too small".  Target would not take them back, I escalated to manager...then to general manager and they gave me the headquarter's number to call.......  I called, waited a long time in their que  and finally got a human being..however, not from this country...I heard  "Hilo Mum, this is "David" howl keen i hilp you?"...hmmmm what country was this call outsourced to???  ............He continued to say the same thing over and over again...............​ "I sowree mum, dere ees nutteeng I keen doo fur you".  I escalated to his supervisor and was told the same thing..  I was SOOOOOOOOO  ANGRY  I just wanted to scream in the middle of the store!!!    My red hot anger made target shirts look PINK

They forgot Home Depot. These people will take anything back! They are huge and I mean Huge into customer service. If they don't take it back then its something so nasty and over used that it should be in the trash anyway. This company will take back a dead tree up to a year after its bought! All you have to do is bring in the root ball if you cant bring in the whole tree. It amazes me how nice they are. Home Depot rocks!!!!

What about Amazon? I have had great experiences with Amazon. BTW, Nordstroms is the best far and away.

I don't even see the list> But everyone is right Target should not be here, They are bad.

The best place with the best return policy is Khols. They are the best that I have seen...

Target does NOT belong on this list. When our daughter moved from NYC to Atlanta for college, she bought an Igloo refrigerator at full price. Target sent a shabby used, return with a dent in the door from a return center in the NE. We got such a runaround from their headquarters in Minnesota, despite the prompt complaint and photographs sent. They wanted us to return their junk at our expense. There was no Target near her, and that was another expense of time and money that the customer should not have had to bear. The box that the junk was sent to her in was a cut up toilet tissue box taped together with no cushions and no warranty in it either. We also complained to and about UPS accepting such a shabby carton from a retailer. Target referred it to a do-nothing shop wench in West Virginia who it turned out worked for several companies with relentless consumer complaints. She and some rube in Minnesota also trued to palm us off with a $10 credit towards the "next purchase". We complained to the FTC which was receptive to getting the photographs we had taken, although they only keep complaints on file, pursuing just those that show a pattern of multiple fraud or laws violated. After two years, UPS reimbursed us. Target is right up there with Sears, Kmart, Walmart and JustMySize as brands best bought in a store to see the item firsthand. The town where the returns center  was located was in the news over a year ago. After Target closed it, an ad for custodian work got almost every adult in town interested. We cannot speak for the others on the list, except for L.L. Bean that had great, new unused online merchandise that we did not have to return.
