Why cant you guys figure out how to eliminate the posts for phony sex and dating programs? Maybe you enjoy giving them the free advertising.....It is really dumb and third class....

I was surprised not to see Craftsman Tools here.  Nearly all of their standard hand tools are warrented forever.

LL Bean should be on this list. They guarantee many of their products and replace with no questions asked. I still have a backpack form them them that has lasted me since I was in high school and I am 28 now. Great customer service, I would recommend them time and time again.

How about Zippo lighters? They work or they fix them. Always have. Always will. And I know this from personal experience... I had one run over by a pickup truck. Smashed flat. Sent it to them. They reshaped the case, and replaced the innards.Sent it back to me. No charge. I use it to this day, 25 years later.

What about LL Bean? They offer a lifetime gaurantee on everything you buy!! I have used it more than once on various clothing items and been more than happy.

You guys should have added Tervis Tumblers.  They make awesome plastic coffee travel mugs and glasses that come with a lifetime guarantee.  They are Microwave Safe, Freezer Safe, and Dishwasher Safe (top rack).  They keep hot drinks hot and cold drinks cold for a while, don't sweat (so you won't need a coaster), come in a variety of designs.  And they are MADE IN THE USA. 

 

You can buy them online (at tervis.com) or at Bed Bath and Beyond stores.  I got one for my husband who is a long haul truck driver and he loves it.

My Husband is a Officer For the Grand canyon he owns the Airflo Tilley hat it was the best 70$ we spent. It can be washed every week and it never loses its shape like other hats! It also protects against the harsh AZ heat!  It is also insured against Loss if lost or stolen they will pay 50% toward a new one!

LL Bean still stands by their products.  My coworker washed a dryclean only LLBean jacket she'd owned for 20 years.  They replaced it with a new one no questions asked.  After 20 years?  I was impressed.

My favorite lifetime warranty item was missed - Tervis Tumbler. Made in the USA (Florida). Tervis stands behind their products. We have 14 of these (each person in our family has 2). My daughter dropped hers on a hard floor and it cracked. No problem. Just go pick out a new one (we returned it to Bed Bath and Beyond). These are starting to be carried by more and more retailers or are available online and come in lots of fun designs.

Droll Yankee offers a lifetime warranty on parts for their bird feeders.  They just sent me a new cylinder for a finch feeder that was chewed up by squirrels.  Thanks Droll Yankee.  I am a customer for life!

I'm surprised this list didn't include the most famous lifetime guarantee - as Papagus says, Zippo lighters. And most impressively, there is no way to void this warranty through misuse. Zippo routinely accepts returned lighters that have been dented, bent, broken, even crushed flat. They stamp the battered case back to its original shape, insert new guts, and return it to the customer.

Most lifetime guarantees are nothing more than a sales gimmick that you have to pay for up front. I can appreciate if the quality is really better, but in most cases you are paying an extra forty to fifty percent because they have projected that their cost of replacement is going to be something less than that. When their cost of replacement exceeds their increased price, they will discontinue the program.....How many people do you think are really going to go for the free replacement twenty or thirty yrs down the road??? It is just a program that is nothing more than saying, we have a program.......What if you are not the original owner...then the warranty is not valid...

The way I understand the so called life guarantee's is this:  Let's say you buy a product such as the Cutco knives and the life expectancy of those knives are 10 years.  You are only guaranteed those 10 years because it is based on the lifetime of the product only and is set by the manufacturer.  If within that 10 years something goes wrong with the product, you might qualify for a replacement. That is assuming that the product is still available and the company is still in business.  And you need to show proof of purchase.  All those warranty cards that you fill in online or through the mail?  Say  hello to the Data Miners. The only thing guaranteed is taxes and death.

Hey Autozone has 100s of life times they did not even put one?????? brakes, starters, alts, gaskets, many many more I work there and stiil can't believe how many!!
