One of my core life priciples: "I am not a market".  I can not be influenced into thinking I need anything.

I checked with Sams and T-Mobile on the deal for the Samsung III before the sale started.

They said all was ok; at T-Mobile they even set the charge for the data plan that I would have needed.

When the gates opened at Sams I was turned down because my upgrade -to the data plan -did not qualify for the 96 cent phone.

How can we stop the large corporation from scalping the consumer?

To Musiclover88...Glad to hear that your sister chose such a noble profession and I feel for the ones that have chosen to give up the holidays to care for others and am very supportive of those in the healthcare fields and public service fields like our police departments, fire departments and EMT services,  however they have chosen these professions and knew what it was to sacrafice their own personal time to CARE for others. I also have family members that have chosen professions that does not allow them to have the holidays off with their families as well (oil field workers) but they make these choices on their own. It used to be that in this country we valued family time spent it together...stores used to be closed on Sundays as well...and like most family oriented people I really would prefer not to have the stores open on the holidays as well to allow anyone that CHOSES that time to be spent with their families...if more people would think about more than just their own pocket books (department stores and their profits) and think about the greater good of humanity we would probably be living in a much better (caring) world that is considerate of others no matter where they chosen to be employed.
