It wasn't long ago that Tax Day was just for paying up what you owe to Uncle Sam. Then businesses started offering a few freebies to help ease the sting of the pain in your wallet.

Now we can get all kinds of deals and free treats for Tax Day.  To help you keep track, we’ve put together a list of Tax Day promotions.

Most are available April 17, but a few are good all week.

Make sure to read the rules. Some deals are available only at participating sites, during specific hours and while supplies are available. Some require coupons, which usually are available on Facebook. Browse the list for your favorites and enjoy. (Post continues after video.)

Having a flat tax would be too simple.....something Washington doesn't understand! The constitution was for the people, not for bigger government!

I am a 66 year old still working full time and I have said for 40 plus years that we should have a 10% flat tax across the board. That includes the millionaires down to the welfare people ( Oh, and don't forget the politicians in Washington ). I'll pay my 10%
