It's hard to get on the market, even though you can see the market going like fireworks. Some of the experts are predicting bubble-burst in the market soon. Those experts three months ago did not see how the Dow Jones would ever get to 15,000 points in 2013. Now it is 15,340, give and take few points. It seems to me the experts are just as confused as anyone.

How outdated is this information though. MSN has a real knack for recycling content just to fill its homepage.

I click on 5 top stocks under $5 and I get 7 top stocks??  But you get 5 stocks  and 8 stocks within the text??  THEN what happened to 7 stocks??  This section has ALWAYS been screwed up and seldom has article (That I can find) to match the original on MSN page.

XUII +43% in 3 weeks , LGF + 25% and GILD +22% in 6 weeks. Stop riding the slow pigs of the DOW.

I like Sirus but am worried technology will make them obsolete at some point. Mobile data networks are getting faster and more far reaching which will make free services like Pandora and Spotify more viable options for mobile music/media streaming. Plus you have a lot more control over the content.

By the time any of this stock picking information is mentioned to the public all the steam has been vented from the stock pick.  Did you ever notice how all the financial pundits and financial periodicals avoid talking/writing about their 80% inaccuracy and/or stocks gone sour.  Avoid these stocks.  Think I'm wrong, check out the prices in 6 months to a year

dELiA*s is going to bounce back because they've hired a rock star?  It reminds me of the bicycle helmet and accessories company I bought in the 90's for $7/share that dropped to $3 and then got an exclusive "Spice Girls" license.  I sold a year later for $1.50.

SIRI's -which I've strongly doubted in the past- seems to be the only one that's not a tremendous risk here because it's got a positive cash flow, a steady customer base, an operation that can not easily be duplicated, and a low P/E of 7, though the current year's earning are expected to be 1/4 last year's, so a "blip" where the P/E rises to around 30 at today's stock price is likely over the next year or two.  It's long term debt has been reduced 20% over its peak and has been cut in half in terms of Debt/Capitalization where it's currently a very healthy 37%.  It's Return on Equity is phenomenal at 98%, though that should drop to a still-good number around 25-30% based on the fall in earnings expected.
S&P rates it 4 stars out of 5 and also a high risk.
I still have a problem with how fast it can grow its customer base and am not going to touch SIRI, but I've not been right about it so far!  Still, Peter Lynch and Warren Buffett warn us not to invest in companies we don't understand and I'm clearly lost here as to why this format works, so I'm out!
