Tesla is a bankrupt car company. How many Americans can afford a $90,000 car?

The Tesla is manufactured in Fremont, CA.  American made--hires American workers.  We should be thankful that something is being produced in the USA.  Yes, it is too expensive but hopefully the price will fall as the car becomes more popular.  And, maybe, help us get rid of oil dependence from countries that want to destroy us.
