Electronic Arts (EA) declined about 0.5% after announcing last night that it struck a multi-year agreement with Disney (DIS) to partner on Star Wars video games. Disney, which like EA is scheduled to issue its quarterly report after Tuesday's close, rose 0.5%.

Among the notable gainers after their earnings reports were Fossil (FOSL), which added 9%, and DirecTV (DTV), which gained nearly 7%.

Also higher were shares of Arena Pharmaceuticals (ARNA), which rose over 8% after a Drug Enforcement Administration document indicated its weight-loss drug Belviq will be classified as a Schedule IV controlled substance.

Among the noteworthy losers was Ruckus Wireless (RKUS), which slid 25% after its first quarter results missed expectations and shares were downgraded at Lazard Capital.

Also lower were shares of Aruba Networks (ARUN), which fell 23% after the company said weakness in April led it to lower its quarterly outlook.
