Shia LaBeouf's stock picks
The 'Money Never Sleeps' actor says he has some investing skills, and he likes Apple and IOC.
Hey, we put everyone else's stock picks in here, so why not give this kid a turn?
Shia LaBeouf, all of 23 years old, apparently now knows a thing or two about investing after finishing filming on "Money Never Sleeps," in which LaBeouf plays a Wall Street trader named Jacob Moore. This is the sequel to Oliver Stone's 1987 hit "Wall Street."

LaBeouf is becoming known for his investing prowess. He brags in this video that he put $20,000 into a Schwab online trading account, and in a matter of months that $20,000 turned into $489,000. (This, apparently, after a guy at the Schwab office in Encino, Calif., showed him the ropes).
OK, so maybe there's a market genius hidden inside this actor who says he doesn't really understand math and has been kicked out of every school he ever attended.
What stocks does he like? According to the GQ interview, which was scanned in and republished by Clusterstock, LaBeouf has four ideas:
1. Buy Apple (AAPL) before it splits.
2. Grow some, ahem, body parts and short gold at 120.
3. Oil will rally for the rest of the year.
4. Look at IOC. I'm assuming he's talking about InterOil Corp (IOC)?. "IOC's momentum is major, and it will surprise to the upside."
Well, he's learned to talk like a Wall Streeter, that's for sure. "Money Never Sleeps" is scheduled to hit theaters this fall.
