Shares of Dow member Coca-Cola (KO) advanced over 5% after the company announced stronger than expected first quarter results and said that it would look to restructure its U.S. bottling system sooner than previously expected.

Another Dow component, Johnson & Johnson (JNJ), rose nearly 2% after its earnings and revenue were better than forecast.

Goldman Sachs (GS) and U.S. Bancorp (USB) declined following their quarterly reports, while shares of BlackRock (BLK), which also reported this morning, were nearly unchanged near noon.

Among the notable gainers was UniPixel (UNXL), which rose 11% after entering into a manufacturing and supply agreement with Eastman Kodak (EKDKQ).

Among the noteworthy losers was Sarepta Therapeutics (SRPT), which fell 13% after the company announced that the FDA had requested additional information about its eteplirsen treatment for Duchenne muscular dystrophy.

Also lower were shares of Netgear (NTGR), which slid 6% after the company lowered its Q1 guidance.
