The market was so low in 2009, the market would have gone up if the president was Democrat, Republican or Independent!

Remember last summer roller coaster?

I'm afraid market ride will be rough as some try to influence our votes one way or the other by massive sell offs, etc.

The market is currently responding to the increased money supply. The money supply has more than doubled under the current administration. The interest rate have remained controlled which produces a something other than a orderly market. Keep in mind Bernanke has warned us monet Market Funds are not guaranteed at $1.00. The dollar continues under a  depressed state! That said I am still happy to receive a few bucks back which still leaves me a loser when compared to the high of the past in the value of the dollar and over a 1000 points under where the Dow was at one time. A price will be paid for market and social manipulation we have seem.Natural law state "every action there is always opposed an equal reaction ... equal in magnitude and opposite in direction.

A correction is coming, of course, another bear market this year, maybe.  If the tea party continues their efforts we will have an economic disaster like which happened last August of 2011.  After that happened, the tea party people were saying so far so good.  That reminded me of a story.

A man went to the top of a 100 story building and while looking over the side, he fell off of the building.  Down about the 50th floor,  there was a party going on in the balcony of one of the rooms.  As the man fell past that floor, one of the people shouted out:  "How is it going?"  the falling man shouted back:  "So far so good."
