Smoke and mirrors behind Citi's surprise
At first glance, the financial giant had a knockout quarter. But there's more to the numbers than meets the eye.
At the time of this writing, Jim Jubak didn't own shares of any companies mentioned in this post in personal portfolios. The mutual fund he manages, Jubak Global Equity Fund (JUBAX), may or may not own positions in any stock mentioned. The fund did not own shares of Citigroup as of the end of June. For a full list of the stocks in the fund as of the end of the most recent quarter, see the fund's portfolio here. They , BAC, C, GS, JPM, MS and WFC, are al still running the same scam that got us all here. They're misrepresenting their financials so that nobody can really determine where they're going. The TBTF banks should be taken over by the FED and be run like real banks and leave the investment betting and swindles to what's left.
